What daily life is like
Mandarin is south Duval along the St. Johns: live oaks, older and newer streets side by side, and errands that stay local. You are close to Julington Creek and St. Johns County when you want newer construction, and close enough to the rest of Jacksonville for work, the airport, and the beaches on a weekend.
It is not a master-planned town center like Nocatee, and it is not a historic grid like San Marco. It is a leafy residential community people stay in for years.
